Researchers at the University of East Anglia, have determined that Ginger helps ease feelings of nausea induced by watching Gilligan's Island. However, some folks preferred Mary Ann's innocent looks. Not that I'm into the whole "girl on girl" thing... but I've always preferred Ginger. She's my kinda gal!

All that feigned coyness and "butter wouldn't melt in my mouth" attitude made Mary Ann sickeningly sweet.

If they were alcoholic beverages, Ginger would be a kick-ass martini while Mary Ann would be some fruity concoction complete with umbrella! ... and I'm a martini kinda girl. No Pina Colada or Fluffy Duck passes these lips, no matter how many cute little umbrellas you stick into them. ;)

As a younger fellow, I thought Tina Louise's Ginger the most attractive by far. As I've matured, I have come to the conclusion that Mary Ann is more desirable for her skills at cooking coconut creme pies. Chock it up to Professor Abraham Maslov's Hierarchy of Needs.

Dawn Wells, the actress who played ‘Mary Ann’ on the classic TV show Gilligan’s Island was busted recently for reckless driving. She was put on probation. She had a good lawyer, because the real reason she was busted was she had a couple of half smoked J’s and a stash o’ ganja. Seems Mary Ann has a thing for weed.

Mary Ann always looked allot better on Gilligan Island than she does in this Mug Shot when busted for Mary Jane in her car.

Bad Cop, looks like he would have cut her a little slack knowing how long the poor girl was lost on that deserted island caused by miss adventure of a three hour cruise!

Wasn't she a cutie! Guess her generation all smoked a little grass, all but me, only thing I ever smoked was grape vine and three packs of Viceroy's in one day, made me so sick,Dad thought I was sea sick, nope I had a nicotine overdose, I haven't smoked anything since, I was 8 years old then.

If Raquel welch were mary ann on the show. Tina Louise would have been so jealous as Raquel would have stolen all the scenes Tina was in. I would have loved to have seen it! Imagine Raquel in those Daisy Dukes or in the episode when Mary ann thought she wass Ginger. Poor Tina, she would have had a meltdown. Lol.
